FREIGHT SERVICE ONLY (HEAVY FURNITURE)
CURBSIDE DELIVERY-Our standard shipping via freight is CURBSIDE DELIVERY. This means that the item that you ordered would be delivered to the curbside and it is NOT the responsibility of the truck driver to unload or assemble your shipment. It will be entirely your responsibility to remove the item off of the truck and bring it inside. Your shipment will be heavy and may require 2 or more people to unload the shipment.
LIFT GATE SERVICE- The freight company will bring a truck with a lift gate. The lift gate is used to lower the item from the truck bed down to the ground. Useful if the client does not have a loading dock. Truck driver will NOT carry the item into the salon. It is the client’s responsibility to carry the item(s) into the salon.
INSIDE DELIVERY-Truck Driver will HELP carry item(s) inside. Client must have a freight elevator if they are not on the first floor. Inside delivery does NOT include carrying the item up stairs. (This service is NOT available).
RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY-Used if the client is having item(s) delivered to their home or a home-base salon.
DELIVERY APPOINTMENT-The trucking company will call you in advance to schedule a time of delivery. Typically, it will be scheduled during business hours Monday-Friday and they will provide you with a 2-5 hour window for delivery. It will be very important that you keep your appointment and have the ability to remove your shipment on your own. If you do not keep the appointment or cannot remove the shipment on your own, the trucking company will have to charge you for redelivery.
